The Lola Necklace

While often considered a gemstone, the warm amber is not a stone, but a fossilized resin from ancient evergreen trees. The oldest amber discovered on Earth is about 320 million years old: imagine the incredibly powerful energy that it contains! It has been used since ancient times in a variety of cultures - from Greece to China – and there are many properties attributed to this great material.
Since it takes a long time for the tree resin to become true amber, it bears ancient energy that comes with the accumulated wisdom of the planet and its natural kingdom. Amber was considered the "soul of the tiger" in Asian cultures and regarded as the stone of courage; pieces were carried for protection during long journeys. It is also believed to balance emotions, attract good luck, eliminate fears, clear the mind and help develop patience.
Amber is now considered one of the most valuable and beautiful natural stones in the world even though it is a fossil resin. You should clean it as often as possible because a lack of care will harm its glamour. Avoid using chemical products and use a damp cloth instead.
In this case, microfiber or flannel fabric works best. Gently rub it on the stone to remove the dirt from its surface and let the jewel dry.
